Weekly Throwing Sessions/Practice
New to the Club? Please Schedule a One on One Practice Before Joining
New throwers are welcome to join at any time - we just ask that you schedule a one on one practice before beginning weekly practice sessions. This allows Coach Kalvar to assess your technique and develop a program to meet your goals.
Coach Kalvar works with each athlete to improve their technique in their chosen event(s). His proven program will be broken down into easy to understand steps that include drills and specific exercises to maximize their performance.

When
The Club meets weekly year round with an extended break for the holidays - please see the schedule for exact dates/times. New throwers are welcome at any time - just make sure to schedule a one on one practice.

If you would like to participate but can't make our existing sessions please use the contact form to let us know when you could come. If there is enough interest in a particular time we may change our offerings.

What to Bring
Each athlete should arrive 10 min before practice and bring water and a pair of throwing shoes. If you don't have throwing shoes you may rent a pair from the club for $2 per day.
Implements (discus, shots, hammers and weights) are provided by the Southern Indiana Throws Club and remain the property of Damien Kalvar. You are free to bring your own regulation implements if you prefer. Please note we do not have javelins on-site, you must bring your own javelin.
Parking is available in the driveway closest to the red house - please do not park on the drive closest to the throwing cage, it is a shared drive and should not be blocked.
You must sign our waiver of liability before participating.
